Irmela Mysen is a lawyer and business ethics specialist with a practitioners background as Senior Advisor to the Council on Ethics for the Norwegian Government Pension Fund, Senior Compliance Officer at Statkraft, and recently Chief Compliance Officer at Aker Energy. Mysen has broad experience in the design and practical implementation of business ethics and compliance programs (Norwegian Penal Code, US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, UK Bribery Act, UNGPs and OECD framework for responsible business conduct, etc). Mysen has also led large on-site information gathering processes world-wide (investigations) including in China, Brazil and Europe.
