Part 1: Fireside chat with the Director of Økokrim (the National Authority for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crime)

The Director of Økokrim, Pål Lønseth in a conversation with Økokrim´s Senior Public Prosecutor Marianne Djupesland about Økokrim´s risk assessment, including aspects of the security- and economic situation and development, trends and priorities, relevant corruption enforcements, the mandate for new guidelines regarding self-reporting and level of sanctions, etc. 

Part 2: How does the «total defence» against corruption function? 

A summery presentation of the TI report «What are the hinders to the investigation and enforcement of corruption cases?».

A law enforcement panel led by Tor Dølvik, TI Norway, will discuss relevant issues and experiences regarding corruption investigations.  

  • The cooperation between local and regional police forces and Økokrim/public prosecutors
  • The situation of local and regional police forces regarding resources, relevant training and competence building, volume of investigations, use of new methodologies, etc.
