Mr. Helgi Seljan is an investigative journalist at the Icelandic weekly paper Heimildin. Previously he worked at the Icelands state broadcaster RÚV for 15 years. He lead the team that covered the Fishrot-scandal, a year long investigation into bribery and money laundering of Icelandic fishing giant Samherji in Namibia, in cooperation between Wikileaks, Al-Jazeera, Heimildin, The Namibian and KVF, the faroese broadcast company. Helgi has received multiple awards and recognition in Iceland and abroad for his journalism.
