Mr. Shinovene Immanuel is an investigative journalist at The Namibian newspaper. Shinovene has been the head of the investigative unit at the newspaper since 2015. He specializes in corruption, politics, extractive industries, real estate and illicit financial flows. Notably, his coverage of the Fishrot scandal, which uncovered corruption in the fishing industry, led to the conviction of two ministers and several other individuals.
